On Wednesday, December 16, 2015 the Winchester HS Wrestling team traveled to Woburn HS and came away with a hard fought 42-31 victory.
It was an up and down fight. Winchester jumped out to a 15 point lead only to see Woburn storm back with 19 unanswered points.
Winchester proceed to rattle off 3 consecutive pins by Joe Decaro, Anthony Fraumeni and Ryan Errico adding 18 points to take a lead they would not relinquish.
Winchester also got key wins from Scott Downs, Dion Kourafulos, Bryson McEachin, Mike Conley and Joey Christopher.
